The traveling Renegade Craft Fair will be back in Chicago this weekend with its biggest free festival of the year! Focused on do-it-yourself and indie-craft culture, the RCF is a large-scale marketplace event featuring more than 300 of today’s brightest makers of handmade goods, live entertainment, hands-on workshops and more. Stop by Division St. in Wicker Park on September 10 and 11 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. for some unique art in one of the city’s hottest neighborhoods.
Originally founded in Chicago’s Wicker Park in 2003, RCF is celebrating its ninth annual event featuring local and national talent that provide independently designed goods such as jewelry, clothing, paper goods, home and garden goods, posters, artwork, plush objects, bath and body, collectibles and knits, just to name a few.
If you get hungry exploring the outdoor event, food will be available for purchase from Antique Taco, Big Bite Catering and MANA Food Bar, while Black Dog Gelato and Puffs of Doom will be selling delicious desserts! For those in need of caffeine, Intelligentsia Coffee will be providing your pick-me-up. Beer will also be available for purchase from Goose Island, and wine from LuLu B.
